Allstate Insurance - Frontend Developer - Javascript/React.js

The Sr Cons II partners closely with team members for moderate to complex level projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Recognized as expert in specialty

- Determines priorities within area of expertise

- Uses experience, innovation, and judgement to make decisions that may be based on partial information

- Serves as point of contact for areas outside of direct team and takes on assignments without direct supervision

- Participates on projects of critical importance; may own pieces of critical project from start to finish

- Influences the work of others through project and program execution

- Uses subject matter expertise to coach less experienced employees

- Implements change beyond tactical items

- Develops in-depth ideas and materials; ensures understanding of technical matters by non-technical, executive decision makers

- Resolves problems where precedent may not exist

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles

- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs

- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token, SCS

- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as GitHub

Education :

- 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
