Aligned Automation - Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Selenium/PyTest

Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in scripting, modern automation tools, and frameworks, along with a solid understanding of QA methodologies and CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks.

- Write reusable, efficient, and scalable automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, PyTest, Robot Framework, JUnit, or TestNG.

- Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to define test strategies and ensure quality delivery.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and UI automation testing.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and drive resolution with the development team.

- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying areas to expand automation coverage.

- Document automation workflows, best practices, and maintain test repositories.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 5+ years of proven experience in test automation.

- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python).

- Strong expertise in automation tools/frameworks : Selenium, PyTest, Robot, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

- Experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).

- Knowledge of CI/CD and containerized environments (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes preferred).

- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
