Job Title : RCS (Rich Communication Services) Specialist / Developer

Overall Exp level : 8 years with that 3+ years in RCS (Rich Communication Services) and messaging platforms or telecom domain is MUST.

Job Location : Hybrid/Remote, India (Delhi NCR preferred)

Overview :

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in RCS (Rich Communication Services) to design, develop, and manage next-generation messaging solutions. The candidate will be responsible for building interactive messaging experiences leveraging RCS capabilities for customer engagement, notifications, and conversational commerce.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement RCS-based messaging solutions for enterprise use cases.

- Create and manage RCS message templates for different business scenarios (promotional, transactional, conversational).

- Define and handle delivery protocols for RCS messages, ensuring reliable message routing, delivery status tracking, and fallback mechanisms (e.g., SMS fallback).

- Integrate RCS with backend systems, CRMs, and APIs.

Develop rich messaging features such as :

1. Carousels

2. Suggested replies

3. Rich cards

4. Media-rich messages (images, videos, PDFs)

- Work with RCS Business Messaging (RBM) platforms.

- Collaborate with telecom providers and aggregators for RCS enablement.

- Ensure message delivery, tracking, analytics, and reporting.

- Optimize messaging flows for performance and user engagement.

- Troubleshoot and resolve RCS-related issues.

Required Skills :

- Strong understanding of RCS protocol and ecosystem.

- Hands-on experience in RCS template creation and approval workflows.

- Knowledge of RCS message delivery protocols, including routing, fallback strategies, and delivery reports.

- Experience with RCS Business Messaging (RBM) platforms.

- Hands-on experience with :

1. REST APIs & Webhooks

2. JSON/XML messaging formats

- Familiarity with telecom messaging systems (SMS, MMS, OTT messaging).

- Experience with cloud platforms AWS.

- Knowledge of messaging aggregators and platforms like :

1. Google RBM platform

2. Infobip, Twilio, or similar providers

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in chatbot development and conversational flows.

- Knowledge of AI/ML-based conversational platforms.

- Understanding of customer engagement platforms.

- Experience with analytics tools for campaign tracking.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

- 3+ years of experience in messaging platforms or telecom domain.

- Prior experience in RCS implementation is highly preferred.
