About the Role :
We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright automation and Healthcare/Medical Imaging applications. The candidate should have a solid understanding of DICOM workflows and experience working with healthcare standards and imaging systems.
The role involves developing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, validating end-to-end medical imaging workflows, identifying regressions, and collaborating closely with Development, Product, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality product releases.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop and maintain scalable automation scripts using Playwright.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, integration and regression testing.
- Automate end-to-end DICOM workflows, including DICOM ingestion, processing, transmission and output validation.
- Compare expected/golden DICOM outputs with test outputs using key attributes and metadata.
- Validate DICOM data, workflows and image-related processing.
- Perform functional, regression, integration and API testing.
- Identify regressions, investigate automation failures and perform root-cause analysis.
- Manage test data, test configurations, test environments and automation dependencies.
- Work with PACS/ RIS/ Medical Imaging/ Radiology/ Viewer applications.
- Collaborate with Development, Product and DevOps teams to understand workflows and resolve issues.
- Participate in code reviews and follow automation best practices.
- Contribute to automation strategy and continuous improvement of testing processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on automation practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field.
Total Experience : 4 - 12 years
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Strong understanding of DICOM fundamentals, data flow and imaging workflows.
- Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Healthcare / Medical Imaging applications.
- Experience working with PACS/ RIS/ Radiology/ Medical Imaging/ Viewer applications.
- Good understanding of HL7 and healthcare standards.
- Strong understanding of UI and API automation testing.
- Experience in automation framework development and maintenance.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Good to Have :
- Hands-on experience with Python for test automation and scripting.
- Experience with Node.js and Playwright.
- Experience testing AI/ML-based healthcare applications.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
- Experience with performance or non-functional testing.
- Knowledge of additional healthcare standards and protocols.
Preferred Domain Experience :
Candidates with experience in Healthcare, Medical Devices, Medical Imaging, Radiology, PACS, RIS, Diagnostic Imaging or DICOM-based applications are preferred.
Key Mandatory Skills :
