Job Description

Position : Algorithm Engineering Manager

Location : Chennai (Relocation Mandatory)

Work Mode : Hybrid (3 Days Onsite)

Industry : Product-Based / Semiconductor / Hardware Manufacturing

Relocation Expenses : Covered

Open to : Domestic and International candidates willing to relocate

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of algorithm engineers to ensure their technical and professional growth.

- Design and maintain scalable infrastructure for algorithm deployment and execution.

- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to develop robust algorithmic solutions.

- Drive optimization of algorithm performance, scalability, and resource efficiency.

- Integrate advancements in high-performance computing (HPC), distributed systems, and algorithm frameworks.

- Continuously improve development methodologies, tools, and workflows across the team.

Minimum Qualifications :

Educational Background (any of the following) :

- PhD + 6 years of industry experience

- M.Tech + 8 years of experience

- B.Tech + 10 years of experience

- At least 3 years in a managerial role (Lead-only roles will not qualify)

- 8+ years hands-on experience in Python, C++, or CUDA

- 8+ years working with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, AI algorithms

- 23 years of experience in Computer Vision and Image Processing

- Strong foundation in HPC, parallel programming, and distributed systems

- Must have worked in a product-based engineering company

- Good organizational stability (minimum 2 years per company)

Preferred Qualifications :

- Tier 1 college graduates (IIT, IIIT, NIT, VIT)

- Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, or hardware engineering companies

- Familiarity with ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn

- Exposure to GPU architectures, Docker, or Apptainer

- High academic performance (CGPA > 8 preferred)

- No frequent job changers (minimum 2 years of tenure in each role)
