Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright, Java Selenium, Java Cucumber, and modern test automation practices.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable automation frameworks, developing automated test suites, validating APIs and backend systems, and ensuring high-quality software releases through continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines.

This role requires close collaboration with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript), Selenium WebDriver with Java, and Cucumber BDD Framework.

- Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, end-to-end, smoke, sanity, and cross-browser testing.

- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

- Develop and maintain reusable automation components, utilities, and libraries.

- Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.

- Validate backend data through SQL queries and database testing.

- Analyze requirements to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.

- Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and track issues.

- Review automation code and enforce testing best practices.

- Monitor execution results, maintain test metrics, and generate quality reports.

- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies.

- Mentor junior QA engineers.

- Support performance, security, and accessibility testing initiatives.
