We are hiring for Akeneo PIM Developer as a Full Time Contractual for IT Company.

Position Overview:

As an Akeneo Senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the Akeneo PIM platform to manage product information.

The role focuses on product data modelling, data governance, integrations, customization, and performance, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and consistent product data across multiple channels and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Akeneo Implementation:

- Configuration, customization, and deployment of Akeneo PIM (Community or Enterprise Edition) for managing product information.

- Design and implement complex Akeneo data models including:

1. Products and Product Models.
2. Families, Attributes, Attribute Groups.
3. Variant structures and category hierarchies.

- Develop and customize Akeneo bundles, extensions, and connectors using Symfony.

- Customize Akeneo UI components using JavaScript / React where required.

- Optimize application performance, indexing, and search using Elasticsearch.

- Strong understanding of data governance and implementation of:
1. Completeness rules.
2. Validation rules.
3. Approval workflows.

- Set up and configure channels, locales, and scopes to ensure data accuracy and consistency across regions and channels.

Data Syndication:

- Develop and maintain integration mappings and export profiles for syndicating product data to:

1. eCommerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, etc.

2. Marketplaces and external systems.

- Build and maintain REST APIbased integrations with ERP, DAM, CRM, and other enterprise systems.

- Handle large-scale data imports and exports with robust error handling and monitoring.

Quality Assurance and Testing:

- Conduct unit testing and collaborate with QA teams to ensure that all PIM functionalities meet the specified requirements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data imports, exports, or integrations.

Documentation and Training:

- Document the design, configuration, and development processes for future reference.

- Provide training and support to internal teams on using and managing the Akeneo system.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

- Strong experience with Akeneo (Community or Enterprise Edition).

- Proficiency in PHP, Symfony Framework.

- Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch for search and filtering.

- Knowledge of REST APIs and integration patterns.

- Solid understanding of data modelling, taxonomy modelling, entity-relationship design, and PIM best practices.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, and Git version control.

- Understanding of security best practices and role/permission management.

- Familiarity with other systems such as ERP, CRM, and e-commerce platforms is a plus.

Experience :

- Experience with Akeneo (Community or Enterprise Edition).

- Prior experience working on projects involving large datasets and complex data structures.

- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message queues.

Education/ Certifications:

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Akeneo or Symfony certification.
