Akamai WAF Security Engineer

Description :

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Security Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in CyberArk (L2/L3) and experience in Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, including Centrify PAM. The candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and enhancing privileged access security across the organization. This role is critical in ensuring the security, compliance, and integrity of enterprise systems and privileged identities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Implement, configure, and manage CyberArk solutions to secure privileged accounts across the environment.

- Oversee the deployment, administration, and maintenance of CyberArk Endpoint Privilege Manager (EPM).

- Provide L2/L3 technical support, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting for CyberArk and related PAM tools.

Security Operations & Compliance :

- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts, identifying potential threats or vulnerabilities.

- Collaborate with IT, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure compliance with internal and industry security standards.

- Participate in incident response and provide subject matter expertise for privileged accessrelated security events.

Governance & Documentation :

- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including PAM configurations, SOPs, workflows, and security processes.

- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective PAM solutions.

Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing :

- Stay updated with emerging trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies in the cybersecurity and PAM landscape.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Hands-on experience with CyberArk Endpoint Privilege Manager, CyberArk Vault, PSM, CPM, and related modules.

- Strong knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools, especially Centrify PAM.

- Solid understanding of IT security principles, identity and access management, and enterprise infrastructure.

- Experience in troubleshooting, incident handling, and performing RCA for privileged accessrelated issues.

- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in large-scale enterprise environments or managed security operations.

- Familiarity with broader security frameworks, compliance standards, and audit requirements.
