Key Responsibilities :

- Build and scale architecture to handle millions of messages daily.

- Lead and guide a team of engineers in day-to-day development activities.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and deliver new features.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.

- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and standardization.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and system issues.

- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning & improvement.

- Contribute to architectural discussions and long-term technical direction.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate them into development processes.

- Ensure security, reliability, and scalability of applications.

- Work closely with DevOps to streamline deployment & monitoring.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred).

- 5+ years overall experience with at least 3+ years as a Software Engineer, delivering production-grade software.

- Strong expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).

- Proficiency in JavaScript and modern frameworks.

- Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.

- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with RESTful API design & development.

- Expertise in database design & management (especially MongoDB).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

- Proficient in Git and version control workflows.

- Exposure to Docker & Kubernetes for containerization & orchestration.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
