Software Engineer - AI Agent Platform

Orchestration - Benchmarking - Unification

About the Role :

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer with around 3 years of experience to join the team building our next-generation AI Agent Platform. This platform helps enterprises measure ROI on AI agent activity, benchmark agents against performance standards, orchestrate multi-agent workflows, and unify AI agents across diverse platforms and ecosystems.

As a Software Engineer on this team, you will contribute to building reliable, scalable backend systems and AI-powered features. You will work closely with senior engineers and the engineering manager, learning and growing in one of the most exciting areas of AI engineering.

What You'll Work On :

- ROI & Analytics : Build data pipelines, instrumentation, and reporting features that quantify the business impact of AI agents across industries like BFSI, healthcare, retail, and telecom.

- Agent Benchmarking : Help develop evaluation harnesses and quality metrics that allow enterprises to compare agents on accuracy, latency, cost, and task success.

- Agent Orchestration : Contribute to multi-agent orchestration engines and workflow planners that enable agents to collaborate on complex tasks reliably.

- Platform Integration : Build connectors and protocol adapters (MCP, A2A, OpenAI Assistants, LangGraph, etc.) that help customers manage agents across vendors from a single control plane.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for the AI Agent Platform.

- Write clean, well-tested, and documented code in Python, Go, or TypeScript.

- Collaborate with senior engineers on architectural decisions and system design.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.

- Integrate with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) and agent frameworks.

- Debug production issues and contribute to platform reliability and performance.

- Work cross-functionally with Product and Design to deliver customer-facing features.

- Continuously learn and stay current with fast-moving agentic AI developments.

Required Qualifications :

- 2- 4 years of software engineering experience in a production environment.

- Proficiency in one or more of Python, Go, TypeScript/Node.js, or Java.

- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Basic knowledge of containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar).

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to code quality.

- Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to AI/ML concepts or experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face).

- Familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.

- Interest in or knowledge of agentic AI concepts : tool use, planning, memory, and multi-agent coordination.

- Experience with streaming and messaging systems (Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ).

- Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus).

- Exposure to vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant) or RAG pipelines.

- Experience with Kubernetes or infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform).

- Cloud & Infra : AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker.

- Observability : Datadog, OpenTelemetry, LangSmith, Langfuse, Prometheus, Grafana.
