Workday Reporting Consultant

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Workday Reporting Consultant to lead the design, development, governance, and optimization of enterprise reporting solutions. The role involves providing technical leadership, establishing reporting standards, developing complex reports and dashboards, and collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead Workday Reporting Center of Excellence (CoE) initiatives and establish enterprise reporting best practices.

- Design and maintain scalable reporting solutions aligned with business requirements and organizational reporting standards.

- Develop complex calculated fields and advanced reporting solutions to support business operations and decision-making.

- Create and maintain Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and Trending Reports within Workday.

- Design executive dashboards and Discovery Boards to provide actionable business insights.

- Establish reporting governance standards, documentation practices, and quality controls.

- Optimize report performance, troubleshoot reporting issues, and improve report efficiency.

- Review report security, security domains, and data access controls to ensure compliance with organizational policies.

- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and other business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver effective solutions.

- Support Workday semi-annual releases by assessing reporting impacts, testing changes, and implementing required updates.

- Mentor junior consultants, review deliverables, and provide technical guidance to the reporting team.

- Identify opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities, data accuracy, and enterprise analytics.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong experience in Workday Reporting and enterprise reporting solutions.

- Expertise in Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, Composite Reports, and Trending Reports.

- Hands-on experience developing complex Workday Calculated Fields.

- Experience designing Discovery Boards, dashboards, and enterprise reporting solutions.

- Strong understanding of Workday Security Domains, report security, and data governance.

- Experience in report optimization, performance tuning, and reporting standards.

- Knowledge of reporting governance, quality assurance, and documentation practices.

- Experience supporting Workday releases, report testing, and troubleshooting.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

- Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and mentor junior consultants.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Workday Prism Analytics.

- Knowledge of Payroll reporting and related business processes.

- Experience in the healthcare industry.

- Workday Pro Reporting Certification or other relevant Workday certifications.
