Role : AI Program Analyst


Exp level : 0 to 2 years :



Job Location : Hybrid / Remote, India (Delhi NCR preferred)

Reports to : Program Director - Strategy

Role Overview :


Algoworks is looking for an analytically rigorous early-career engineer who wants to work at the intersection of AI, engineering workflows, and business outcomes.

This role will work across teams and will be responsible for identifying where AI can create tangible value across the organization, translating engineering and AI initiatives into measurable productivity and efficiency outcomes, and supporting leadership in quantifying the potential impact of AI-driven improvements.

This role requires someone who is comfortable engaging with engineers, understanding technical discussions, and translating engineering work into clear operational and business implications. The role focuses on analytical evaluation of AI use cases, rapid prototyping of internal automation tools, and structured assessment of how AI can improve productivity, efficiency, and delivery outcomes.

Over time, this role provides strong exposure to real-world AI implementation inside a technology company and creates a foundation for growth into roles in AI architecture, AI strategy, or enterprise AI transformation.

Responsibilities :

AI Opportunity Analysis and Use Case Development (~70%) :


- Analyze how AI can improve engineering productivity, operational efficiency, and internal workflows across the organization :


- Interact with delivery teams, architects, and practice leads to understand AI experiments and automation initiatives.


- Engaging with engineering teams and architects to understand existing workflows, tooling, and development practices.


- Identifying areas where AI-driven automation can reduce manual effort, improve delivery speed, or enhance engineering productivity.



- Developing structured AI use cases including :


1. Problem definition and scope


2. Technical approach


3. Productivity, efficiency, ROI or cost impact estimates


4. Feasibility and risk estimates


- Evaluating AI opportunities across engineering, delivery, HR, finance, and operations workflows.


- Maintaining a structured repository of validated AI use cases and automation opportunities across the organization.


- Quantifying the operational impact of AI initiatives using simple productivity, cost, or efficiency metrics.


- The goal is to create a clear analytical view of where AI creates measurable value within the company.

AI Prototyping and Internal Automation (~25%) :


- Develop simple prototypes to validate AI automation opportunities.


- Building basic AI assistants using tools such as Microsoft Copilot or similar platforms.


- Prototyping document processing workflows including classification, summarization, and metadata extraction.


- Automating repetitive internal tasks such as report generation, document scanning, or data summarization.


- Supporting the AI Architect in evaluating new tools, frameworks, and models.


- Conducting rapid experiments to determine feasibility and limitations of AI use cases.


- These prototypes are intended to demonstrate possibilities and accelerate AI adoption within the organization.

Program Intelligence & Initiative (~5%) :


- Act as a strategic support partner to the Program Director on cross-functional initiatives that span multiple teams. Responsibilities include :


- Developing a clear understanding of ongoing internal initiatives across engineering, operations, and corporate functions.


- Maintaining structured visibility of program progress, dependencies, and risks across initiatives.


- Synthesizing discussions from cross-team interactions into actionable insights and clear next steps.


- Tracking execution of key initiatives and surfacing blockers or gaps that may impact delivery.


- Supporting preparation of concise summaries and structured updates on program progress for leadership.


- This exposure will give the role broad visibility across the organization and help the analyst develop a strong understanding of how large technology initiatives are executed.

Qualifications Required :


- 0 - 2 years of experience


- Background in software engineering, IT, or a related technical field


- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability


- Comfortable engaging with engineers and understanding technical discussions


- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms


- Ability to evaluate technical ideas in terms of operational and business impact


- Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint for structured analysis and reporting


- Clear written communication and documentation skills.
