Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Tester to support our AI and Data Science teams in validating, verifying, and ensuring the quality of AI/ML models, workflows, and data pipelines. This role requires a strong grasp of SDLC/STLC processes, Agile methodologies, and hands-on experience with testing AI/ML-driven solutions. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, developers, and product teams to ensure the delivery of accurate, reliable, and high-performing AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Planning & Analysis :

- Analyze system specifications, user stories, and technical documentation to extract functional and non-functional requirements.

- Design comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases tailored for AI/ML workflows and data pipelines.

Test Execution & Validation :

- Execute manual and automated tests for AI/ML models, APIs, and integrated systems.

- Validate model outputs against business requirements and expected performance metrics.

- Perform data validation, data integrity checks, and edge-case testing to ensure AI models perform reliably across datasets.

Defect Management & Reporting :

- Identify, document, and track defects with detailed reproduction steps using tools like JIRA.

- Work closely with development and data science teams to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues.

Process & Methodology :

- Apply Agile testing methodologies within sprint cycles, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Ensure testing aligns with best practices in AI/ML model validation, including fairness, bias detection, and explainability considerations.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC principles.

- Proven hands-on experience in Agile testing methodologies.

- Experience testing AI/ML-based applications, workflows, or APIs.

- Ability to prepare detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data.

- Proficiency in defect tracking and reporting using tools like JIRA.

- Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills :

- Exposure to ML model validation techniques (accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, etc.).

- Familiarity with Python or SQL for data validation and test automation.

- Understanding of REST APIs and microservices testing.

- Knowledge of data visualization tools for test reporting.
