AI/ML Engineer - Data Modeling

The Opportunity :

Sonatus is seeking a highly motivated AI Engineer to drive software innovations for next-generation software-defined vehicles.
The role focuses on customer-first product development and solving real-world problems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct the full data modeling and algorithm development lifecycle (modeling, training, tuning, validating, deploying, maintaining).

- Demonstrate strong domain expertise in various AI areas including LLM, Computer Vision,

Time Series, RAG, fine-tuning large models, and traditional ML models.

- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data science and AI.

- Perform data analysis and provide insights for business decisions.

- Ensure adherence to data privacy and security protocols.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into AI/data science

solutions.

- Document and communicate technical designs, processes, and best practices.

- Manage projects to ensure timely completion in a dynamic environment.

- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C++, with experience in TensorFlow, PyTorch, or

scikit-learn.

- In-depth knowledge of current machine learning algorithms, AI technologies, and platforms.

- Experience with data engineering/processing frameworks (e.g., Databricks, Spark, Dataflow)

and SQL proficiency.

- Solid experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker,

Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Strong knowledge of software development best practices, version control systems, and agile

methodologies.

- Results-driven with excellent problem-solving, communication (verbal and written), and

collaboration skills.

- Experience in the automotive industry is highly desirable.
