AI/ML Engineer - Chatbot & Generative AI

Job Title : AI/ML Engineer (ChatBot & Generative AI)

Location : Remote (with occasional visits to client sites in Bangalore, Noida, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, or Indore)

Experience Level : 5+ Years

Work Hours : 11 : 00 AM 8 : 30 PM IST

Primary Responsibilities :

AI/ML Model Development :

- Implement, fine-tune, and scale large language models (LLMs) such as GPT, Gemini, and other state-of-the-art architectures.

Cloud Integration & Deployment :

- Integrate AI/ML solutions seamlessly with Microsoft Cloud services, including Azure Functions, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and Azure Cognitive Services.

- Leverage containerization tools (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines for scalable production deployments.

Generative AI & RAG Systems :

- Build and optimize Generative AI applications and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.

- Work with frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and vector databases such as FAISS and Pinecone.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management :

- Partner with data scientists, solution architects, software engineers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable AI/ML solutions.

- Provide technical guidance, perform code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.

Model Optimization & Monitoring :

- Ensure high availability and performance of models in production by designing robust monitoring and optimization frameworks.

- Apply MLOps best practices for continuous training, deployment, and lifecycle management.

Governance & Security :

- Implement security-first AI design to ensure compliance with enterprise security, privacy, and regulatory standards.

- Apply Microsoft Azure governance frameworks for safe and reliable AI deployments.

Research & Innovation :

- Experiment with emerging open-source libraries, LLM orchestration tools, and prompt engineering techniques.

Qualifications & Skills :

Educational Background :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.

Core Technical Expertise :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning engineering or AI/ML development with Python and cloud-based platforms.

- Deep expertise in large language models (LLMs) such as GPT, Gemini, and other Transformer-based architectures.

- Strong proficiency in ML frameworks : PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-learn.

- Expertise in data manipulation and analysis using Pandas, NumPy, and Python data libraries.

- Experience designing LLM-powered applications with LangChain, LangGraph, and vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone).

Cloud & DevOps Competencies :

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services : Azure Machine Learning, Azure DevOps, Azure Synapse, and Cognitive Services.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, REST APIs, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Strong knowledge of MLOps frameworks, model monitoring, and automated deployment pipelines.

Additional Skills :

- Experience with Power BI or other Microsoft analytics and visualization tools.

- Familiarity with healthcare data standards (X12, HL7) is a strong plus.

- Strong understanding of enterprise security practices, including identity management and role-based access control.

- Azure Certifications such as Azure AI Engineer Associate or Azure Data Scientist Associate are highly preferred.

Soft Skills :

- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and drive end-to-end ownership of AI/ML initiatives.

- Strong presentation skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
