AI Head

As Head of AI, you'll own WizCommerce's end-to-end AI strategy from architecture to applied research, driving the company's transformation into an intelligent, automation-first B2B platform. You'll lead a high-performing team of AI engineers, data scientists, and product managers to design and deploy production-grade LLM, CV, and multi-agent systems that power the core of our ecosystem.

This is a hands-on leadership role, equal parts visionary and builder. You'll define the long-term AI roadmap while staying close to code, architecture, and experimentation.

Responsibilities :

AI Strategy & Vision :

- Define and execute WizCommerce's AI strategy across all product lines from conversational sales assistants to autonomous agents.

- Drive the transition from AI features to AI systems embedding intelligence deeply into every workflow.

- Partner with founders to identify new AI-first revenue opportunities and product directions.

Architecture & Systems Design :

- Architect large-scale GenAI and multi-agent systems leveraging LLMs, RAG pipelines, and vector databases.

- Design reusable AI microservices that serve multiple B2B applications, WizOrder, WizCRM, WizShop, and beyond.

- Ensure scalability, cost efficiency, and high performance of AI workloads.

Research & Experimentation :

- Stay ahead of advancements in LLMs, CV, and multi-modal AI fine-tuning or integrating where it drives tangible ROI.

- Lead rapid prototyping of new AI use cases (sales copilot, catalogue automation, visual generation, etc. ).

- Build partnerships with AI vendors, open-source communities, and research institutions.

Leadership & Execution :

- Build, mentor, and scale an AI team combining engineering excellence with applied research depth.

- Foster a fast, experimentation-driven culture. Ship fast, learn faster, scale what works.

- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering leaders to align AI initiatives with customer and business goals.

AI Infrastructure & Governance :

- Own the AI infrastructure stack, LLM orchestration, model management, data pipelines, observability, and MLOps.

- Implement monitoring, bias control, and feedback loops for responsible AI deployment.

- Establish internal frameworks and best practices for reproducibility, versioning, and experimentation.

Requirements :

- 8- 12 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 3+ years leading teams.

- Proven experience shipping production-grade GenAI systems (LLMs, CV, multi-agent frameworks).

- Deep expertise in LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or similar orchestration frameworks.

- Strong programming background in Python, with experience in FastAPI, microservices, and distributed systems.

- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), Kubernetes, and Terraform.

- Track record of balancing research with delivery, translating technical breakthroughs into real-world products.

- Understanding of B2B workflows, CRM, or SalesTech is a big plus.

- Entrepreneurial mindset: bias for action, curiosity, and ownership.
