ROLE SUMMARY :

We are looking for an enthusiastic AI Engineer from fresh graduate to early-career with an interest or foundational experience in RAG pipelines and LLMs. You will learn on the job alongside our founding team, contribute to real-world AI systems, and grow fast in a high-ownership startup environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Design and maintain end-to-end RAG pipelines : document ingestion, chunking, embedding, vector stores (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector), and retrieval orchestration.

- Fine-tune and instruction-tune LLMs (LLaMA, Mistral, Qwen) using SFT, LoRA/QLoRA, RLHF, and DPO on semiconductor domain datasets.

- Build evaluation pipelines using RAGAS, faithfulness, and answer-relevancy metrics; implement hallucination mitigation and output guardrails.

- Develop agentic workflows and prompt engineering frameworks with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or custom solutions.

- Optimise inference via quantisation (GGUF, AWQ, GPTQ) and efficient serving (vLLM, TGI, Ollama); deploy on cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) with Docker/Kubernetes.

REQUIREMENTS :

- Bachelor's/Master's in CS, AI/ML, or related field; fresh graduates welcome 0-3 years of experience in ML/NLP or AI development.

- Proficient in Python, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, and PEFT libraries.

- Hands-on with vector DBs, embedding models (BGE, E5, sentence-transformers), and re-ranking strategies.

- Experience with MLOps tooling (MLflow, W&B) and containerised deployments.

- Self-directed with the ability to thrive in an early-stage, fast-paced environment.

- Bonus : semiconductor/manufacturing AI experience, multimodal LLMs, or open-source contributions.
