Aggne - Technical Lead - DBMS

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Database Tech Lead with 810 years of expertise in SQL Server, Snowflake, Power BI, and Azure, preferably with exposure to the Insurance domain.

The ideal candidate will lead database and BI initiatives, architect scalable data solutions, and mentor a team of developers and analysts.

Knowledge of Python and prior team leadership experience is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and optimization of database solutions using SQL Server and Snowflake.

- Architect and implement data pipelines and ETL processes on Azure.

- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

- Collaborate with stakeholders from the insurance domain to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Ensure data integrity, security, and performance across platforms.

- Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues.

- Stay current with emerging data technologies and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 810 years of experience in database development and data engineering.

- Strong proficiency in SQL Server including performance tuning, stored procedures, and data modeling.

- Hands-on experience with Snowflake including data warehousing and cloud integration.

- Expertise in Power BI building dashboards, DAX, and data visualization.

- Experience with Microsoft Azure including Data Factory, Azure SQL, and cloud-based data solutions.

- Familiarity with the Insurance domain understanding of data structures, reporting needs, and compliance.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
