Role: Guidewire Policy Architect.

Experience: 12 - 16 Years.

Job Location: Hyderabad/ Remote.

Responsibilities:

- Define the overall PolicyCenter solution architecture and technical roadmap.

- Lead architecture and design workshops with business, product, and engineering stakeholders.

- Design solutions for product model, APD, rating, underwriting, and the complete policy lifecycle.

- Define integration patterns using Guidewire APIs, REST, SOAP, messaging, and external platforms.

- Establish standards for configuration, customization, performance, security, and maintainability.

- Review high-level and low-level designs and govern adherence to architecture decisions.

- Provide technical leadership, resolve complex design issues, and mentor leads and developers.

- Support Guidewire Cloud migration, upgrade, release planning, and production readiness.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 10 - 15 years of experience in configuration and customization for any Guidewire Policy system development.

- Deep PolicyCenter configuration and architecture expertise.

- Strong knowledge of product model, APD, rating, underwriting, and policy lifecycle management.

- Advanced Gosu, PCF, data model, typelists, rules, workflow, batch, and messaging.

- Strong integration architecture experience with APIs, REST, SOAP, and asynchronous patterns.

- Guidewire Cloud Platform experience.

- Commercial or Personal Lines insurance knowledge.

- Experience leading at least one full implementation, modernization, or cloud migration.

Good To Have:

- Guidewire ACE certification.

- Experience with Qusar, Palisades, Olos, Niseko, or Mammoth.

- Experience with CI/CD, observability, and cloud-native engineering practices.

- Awareness of Jutro, Guidewire EDGE, DataHub, or Guidewire Data Platform.

- Multi-XCenter experience across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.

- Guidewire certification is preferred.

- Relevant insurance domain certification is an advantage.
