Job Description

The Role :


Were hiring Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) who are obsessed with GenAI, prompts, and problem-solving and who want to see their work deployed in production, not stuck in demos.


As an FDE, youll sit at the intersection of customers, product, and engineering, deploying AI agents (voice + chat) into mission-critical enterprise workflows. Youll work hands-on with customers to design, integrate, and scale AI agents that deliver measurable business outcomes and then feed those real-world learnings straight back into the product roadmap.


No two deployments are the same.


This role is high ownership, high ambiguity, and very high impact.


If you love writing prompts, debugging AI behavior, thinking deeply about system design, and watching AI agents succeed (or fail) in the wild this role is for you.


Your Impact :


As a Forward Deployed Engineer, youll directly shape :


- How enterprises adopt and trust AI agents in production


- How voice and chat agents perform in real, mission-critical workflows


- How quickly customers move from PoC ? scaled rollout


- How the platform evolves based on real usage, edge cases, and failure modes


- How AI agents deliver tangible business value, not hype


Your work wont just ship features it will define how the product works in the real world.


What Youll Do :


Customer Problem Discovery :


- Partner closely with strategic customers to deeply understand workflows, constraints, and pain points


- Identify high-leverage AI agent use cases across support, sales, operations, and automation


- Turn vague business problems into clear, solvable technical and AI system designs


Agent Design & Deployment :


- Design and deploy end-to-end AI agent systems across voice and chat


- Craft and iterate on prompts, tools, memory, state, routing, guardrails, and fallbacks


- Debug AI behavior in production from hallucinations to latency to edge cases


- Ensure agents are reliable, safe, observable, and scalable


Solution Architecture & Integrations :


- Build custom integrations with CRMs, ticketing tools, telephony systems, internal APIs, and data sources


- Design solutions that fit seamlessly into existing enterprise stacks


- Support requirements around security, compliance, VPCs, and data isolation


- Guide customers on best practices for deploying and scaling AI agents


Execution & Ownership :


- Own deployments end-to-end for strategic customers


- Prototype quickly, test aggressively, iterate fast, and ship confidently


- Build compelling demos and live examples that showcase whats possible


- Present results and recommendations to engineers, product teams, and senior stakeholders


Product Feedback Loop :


- Act as the voice of the field for core product teams


- Surface patterns, gaps, and opportunities from real deployments


Requirements :


- Experience working with customers in a technical, solutions-oriented role (Solutions Engineering, FDE, Product Engineering, Consulting, etc.)


- Comfort collaborating with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders


- Working knowledge of Python and APIs for prototyping and integrations


- Familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, conversational systems, or workflow automation


- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to structure ambiguous problems


- A strong ownership mindset you take things from idea to production


- Excellent communication skills, especially explaining complex systems simply
