Affine - Principal Full Stack Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Principal Full Stack Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications, AI-powered platforms, and cloud-native solutions across Azure and modern web technologies.

The role involves architecting end-to-end full stack systems, integrating GenAI and LLM capabilities, building scalable backend services and intuitive frontend applications, and driving engineering excellence through DevOps, automation, and modern software practices. The candidate will also mentor engineering teams and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital products and intelligent solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end architecture, design, and development of enterprise-grade full stack applications

- Design and develop scalable frontend and backend systems using modern frameworks and cloud-native architectures

- Build and integrate GenAI, LLM, and AI/ML-powered capabilities into enterprise applications

- Develop reusable frameworks, APIs, microservices, and shared engineering components

- Architect and implement hybrid cloud solutions on Azure and related ecosystems

- Collaborate with business, product, and data teams to deliver scalable digital platforms and intelligent user experiences

- Ensure application scalability, security, performance, observability, and governance best practices

- Drive DevOps maturity through CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment best practices

- Lead technical decision-making, code quality initiatives, and engineering standards

- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across multiple delivery teams

- Support advanced analytics, data-driven applications, and AI platform integrations

- Contribute to solution roadmaps, innovation initiatives, and enterprise modernization programs

Cloud & Platforms :

- Microsoft Azure

Full Stack Technologies :

- Frontend : React, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3

- Backend : Node.js, .NET Core, Java Spring Boot, Python

- API development using REST and GraphQL

- Microservices and event-driven architectures

GenAI, AI/ML & Data :

- Experience with Generative AI and LLM integrations

- Exposure to AI/ML platforms and intelligent application development

- Prompt engineering, AI orchestration frameworks, and model integration

- Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, and RAG-based architectures

- Snowflake and modern data platform integration

- Data modelling and data governance concepts

Data & Database Technologies :

- Experience in Azure SQL, Snowflake,

- Exposure to Cosmos DB, Vector DB

- Experience in Data integration and enterprise data workflows

DevOps & Engineering Practices :

- Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines

- Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code

- Automated testing, monitoring, and deployment strategies
