AFCS (Accounting Foundation Cloud Service) Senior Consultant

Experience : 5-12+ years

Key Responsibilities : We are seeking an experienced AFCS Senior Consultant with expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud projects, specifically focusing on Accounting Foundation Cloud Service (AFCS).

The candidate should have a strong background in financial modules, extensive project lifecycle experience, and the ability to lead, design, and implement solutions for banking clients.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of AFCS functionalities and features, as well as hands-on experience in configuring and implementing the product for large global banks.

Required Experience :

- 5-12+ years of experience, with a minimum of 5+ years working as a Senior Consultant/Architect in Oracle Fusion Cloud projects.

- Experience in the complete project life cycle, preferably for Banking Clients, and exposure to large and complex system landscapes.

- Product implementation experience for large global banks, including multi-GAAP / Multi Country roll-outs.

- Certified Oracle Cloud Implementation Specialist.

- Understanding of AFCS product functionalities and features.

Technical Skills :

Expertise in AFCS functionalities, including but not limited to :

- File upload and Integration functionalities in AFCS.

- Event-based and Passthrough SLA/Accounting Content configuration.

- Data processing in Forward flow : Data Catalog, Data Quality, Data Repairs, Data Transport & Data Provision.

- Data processing in backward flow : Journal Ingestion, Decomposition, Reconciliation, Balance computation, etc.

- Other common features like Identity, Entitlements, PMF Processes, Logging, Monitoring, etc.

- Data Extraction for downstream applications.

- Data Visualization, Dashboards, and Reporting.

Qualifications and Skills :

- Bachelors or masters degree in a related field (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Information Technology).

- Proven experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud projects with a focus on AFCS and financial modules.

- Understanding of AFCS product functionalities and features.

- Solid domain knowledge in bookkeeping, accounting, ledgers, and financial reporting.

- Hands-on experience in configuring and implementing AFCS for large global banks.

- Extensive understanding of the entire Fusion landscape, including key modules and their fitment to various business process needs.

- Excellent communication and articulation skills, capable of explaining technical solutions with a business-oriented approach.

- Ability to lead, own, and deliver in the Finance modules, designing practical and even complex solutions, integrations for client needs, providing demonstrations, and obtaining agreements.

- Experience in supporting business Finance month-end close and daily operations.

- Proficiency in raising service requests, coordinating with Oracle, and troubleshooting application issues.

- Proficiency in gap analysis, solution design, functional and techno/functional analysis, interface/legacy conversion analysis, test script generation, integration testing, and user training
