Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong focus on the Legal Module to join our dynamic team for a 12-month assignment. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in the ServiceNow platform and a proven track record of developing, customizing, and supporting solutions, particularly within a legal or compliance context. This role requires a proactive individual who can work effectively in an Agile environment, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our ServiceNow instance.


Responsibilities:


- Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules, with a primary focus on the Legal Module.

- Implement and maintain workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, and other ServiceNow functionalities.

- Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using various methods (e.g., REST, SOAP, Integration Hub).

- Create and configure forms, lists, reports, dashboards, and other UI components to meet business requirements.

- Develop and manage Access Control Lists (ACLs) to ensure data security and proper access control.

- Utilize Flow Designer to build and optimize automated workflows.

- Perform thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure quality, performance, and adherence to specifications.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues related to the ServiceNow platform and Legal Module.

- Collaborate closely with business analysts, legal stakeholders, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives).

- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and training materials.

- Provide training and support to end-users and administrators on ServiceNow functionalities.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and best practices.


Skills Required:


- Extensive expertise in ServiceNow platform and its modules (5+ years of hands-on experience).

- Strong technical proficiency in scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript), form designs, Flow Designers, and Access Control Lists (ACLs).

- Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations (e.g., REST, SOAP, Integration Hub).

- Exceptional capability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues within the ServiceNow environment.

- Demonstrated experience working effectively within an Agile framework (Scrum/Kanban).

- Mandatory skills: ServiceNow Developers for Legal Module.


Highly Desired Skills & Certifications:


- CSA (Certified System Administrator) certification is advantageous.

- Familiarity with legal domain knowledge, legal processes, and compliance awareness is highly beneficial.

- Effective communication skills for conducting training sessions and creating comprehensive documentation.
