Job Title : SAP SF Consultant

Location : Bangalore

Assignment Duration : 8 months

About the Job :

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SAP SuccessFactors (SF) Consultant to join our team for an 8-month assignment in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess 8-10 years of progressive experience in SAP SF implementations, support, and optimization, with deep expertise in at least three core SAP SuccessFactors modules. This role requires a hands-on individual with a strong understanding of HR business processes, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

Module Expertise & Configuration :

- Serve as a subject matter expert in at least three SAP SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Employee Central, Performance & Goals, Learning Management System (LMS), Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Succession & Development, Variable Pay, etc.).

- Lead and execute end-to-end configuration activities within the assigned SAP SF modules based on business requirements.

- Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet design specifications and business needs.

Requirements Gathering & Solution Design :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze detailed functional requirements for SAP SF implementations and enhancements.

- Translate business requirements into robust and scalable SAP SF technical solutions.

- Prepare detailed functional design documents, technical specifications, and other project documentation.

Implementation & Deployment :

- Participate actively in all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, blueprinting, realization, final preparation, go-live, and post-go-live support.

- Assist in data migration activities, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

- Support cutover activities and hypercare post-go-live.

Support & Optimization :

- Provide expert-level support for SAP SF modules, troubleshooting issues, and identifying root causes.

- Perform system health checks, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Stay abreast of new SAP SuccessFactors releases and functionalities, recommending and implementing relevant updates.

Training & Documentation :

- Develop and deliver training to end-users and key stakeholders on SAP SF functionalities.

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, process flows, and system configurations.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including other SAP consultants, technical teams, project managers, and business users.

- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.

- Act as a mentor to junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.

- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors implementations, support, and/or consulting roles.

- Demonstrated expertise and certification (preferred) in at least three core SAP SuccessFactors modules.


- Strong understanding of HR business processes across various domains (e.g., Employee Lifecycle, Talent Management, Payroll Integration).


- Experience with SAP Activate methodology is a plus.

- Proficiency in creating detailed functional specifications, test plans, and training materials.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.


- Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Previous experience working on a short-term, high-impact assignment.

- Experience with integrations between SAP SF and other systems (e.g., SAP ERP, third-party payroll).

- Familiarity with reporting tools within SAP SF (e.g., Report Center, Canvas Reports).

- SAP SuccessFactors certifications in relevant modules.
