About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated SAP IBP Consultant with over 8 years of relevant experience to join our team for a 12-month assignment. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP IBP Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and integration with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). This role requires a hands-on professional capable of managing the full lifecycle of IBP solutions, from configuration and testing to troubleshooting and end-user support.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Design & Configuration :

- Lead and participate in the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP IBP solutions, specifically focusing on Demand Planning and Supply Planning modules.

- Hands-on configuration of core IBP components including Master Data (e.g., Products, Locations, Resources, Customers), Planning Areas, Planning Views, and various planning operators.

- Implement and optimize baseline forecasting techniques, forecast model creation, and assignment.

- Configure and manage advanced planning functionalities such as Lifecycle Planning, New Product Introduction (NPI), Forecast Consumption, and Shelf-Life Planning.

- Capable of handling complex configuration scenarios, including workflow configuration within SAP IBP.

Integration Management :

- Extensive experience in integrating SAP IBP with other SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).

- Design, develop, and troubleshoot integration flows (iFlows) in CPI to ensure seamless data exchange between IBP and source/target systems (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA).

- Monitor and manage data loads and data quality within the IBP landscape.

Support & Troubleshooting :

- Provide expert-level support for SAP IBP applications, independently resolving complex issues raised by end-users.

- Diagnose, analyze, and troubleshoot system issues, performance bottlenecks, and data inconsistencies within the IBP environment.

- Proactively identify potential problems and provide robust, sustainable solutions to ensure system stability and optimal performance.

- Work independently to manage customer ticket resolution, adhering to defined SLAs.

Testing & Documentation :

- Perform comprehensive unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities to ensure the quality and integrity of IBP solutions.

- Develop and maintain detailed WRICEF (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) design documentation.

- Create and update functional specifications, technical specifications, and user training materials.

Collaboration & Mentorship :

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business users, IT teams, and other consultants.

- Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to junior team members and end-users.

- Participate in workshops and meetings to gather requirements and present solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Expertise :

- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP IBP implementation and support.

- In-depth knowledge and practical experience with SAP IBP modules: Demand Planning (IBP for Demand) and Supply Planning (IBP for Supply, Response & Supply).

- Proficiency in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) for IBP integrations.

- Strong understanding of IBP data model, planning operators, attributes, master data types, and key figures.

- Experience with advanced planning functionalities such as statistical forecasting, causal factors, demand sensing, inventory optimization, and S&OP processes.

- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA integration points with IBP is a plus.

Functional Knowledge :

- Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning processes.

- Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective SAP IBP solutions.

- Strong troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to issue resolution.

Documentation & Testing :

- Proven experience in creating detailed functional and technical documentation (e.g., WRICEF).

- Experience in designing and executing test cases.

Certifications :

- SAP IBP certification(s) are highly desirable.
