The role requires deep expertise in AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS), cloud-native architectures, headless CMS implementations, Adobe Experience Cloud integrations, enterprise content management strategies, and large-scale digital transformation programs.

The successful candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, UX teams, developers, DevOps engineers, and solution architects to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing customer experience platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership :

- Define end-to-end architecture for enterprise AEM implementations across web, mobile, and omnichannel digital experiences.

- Design scalable, secure, and high-availability AEM solutions aligned with business and technology objectives.

- Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks, and development best practices.

- Lead technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and solution validation activities.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development, DevOps, and QA teams.

Adobe Experience Manager Architecture :

- Architect and implement solutions using AEM Sites, Assets, Forms, and AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).

- Design reusable content models, component frameworks, editable templates, workflows, and content governance structures.

- Define content architecture using Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and headless CMS patterns.

- Establish multi-site, multi-brand, and multi-region AEM deployment strategies.

- Design enterprise-grade content authoring and publishing workflows.

Cloud & Platform Engineering :

- Lead cloud-native AEM deployments using Adobe Cloud Manager and CI/CD pipelines.

- Define infrastructure and deployment strategies for development, staging, and production environments.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployments, monitoring, logging, and platform management.

- Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation best practices.

- Optimize platform performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Integration Architecture :

- Design and oversee integrations between AEM and enterprise platforms.

- Architect integrations with :

- Define API governance and integration security standards.

Headless & Edge Delivery Architecture :

- Design headless CMS solutions using Content Fragments and GraphQL.

- Architect Edge Delivery Services implementations for high-performance digital experiences.

- Drive omnichannel content delivery strategies across web, mobile applications, kiosks, and emerging channels.

- Establish content reuse and content distribution frameworks.

Security & Governance :

- Define platform security architecture and access control models.

- Implement enterprise security best practices, authentication, authorization, and compliance controls.

- Conduct architecture reviews to ensure security, scalability, and maintainability.

- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Performance Optimization :

- Architect solutions for optimal application performance and scalability.

- Optimize dispatcher configurations, caching strategies, CDN integrations, and content delivery mechanisms.

- Improve Core Web Vitals and overall digital experience performance.

- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex production issues.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management :

- Mentor developers, technical leads, and architects.

- Conduct code reviews, architecture reviews, and technical assessments.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Provide effort estimation, risk assessment, and technical roadmap planning.

- Support pre-sales activities, solution proposals, and technical presentations when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience :

- 10- 15 years of overall software engineering experience.

- 7+ years of hands-on Adobe Experience Manager experience.

- Proven experience architecting large-scale enterprise AEM implementations.

- Experience leading distributed teams and enterprise transformation initiatives.

Adobe Experience Manager Expertise :

- Strong Java/J2EE development background.

- Expertise in RESTful APIs and GraphQL.

- Experience with microservices architecture and enterprise integrations.

- Knowledge of React, Angular, Next.js, or other modern front-end frameworks.

- Understanding of headless CMS and composable architecture principles.

Cloud & DevOps :

- Experience with Adobe Cloud Manager.

- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, SonarQube, and automated testing frameworks.

- Knowledge of containerization technologies and cloud-native deployments.

Security & Compliance :

- Experience implementing enterprise security standards.

- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, SSO, OAuth, and identity management solutions.

- Understanding of compliance frameworks and secure software development practices.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Adobe Experience Manager Architect certification.

- Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).

- Experience with Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Campaign.

- Exposure to Edge Delivery Services and modern composable architectures.

- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and GenAI coding assistants.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
