Position/Role : Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations Technical Consultant

Job summary :

This role is responsible for the technical design, programming and testing of functional development for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.

Listed below is a guide to the primary activities for a Dynamics 365 Technical Consultant on a day-to-day basis; however, this is not intended to be an exhaustive list, but more of an illustration of the type of tasks involved:

Skills and experiences required :

- Overall experience of 6+ years as Technical Consultant- Dynamics 365

- Development of modifications and new solutions for Microsoft Dynamics TM AX/365 using the X++, and MorphX languages.

- Software testing and bug detection and fixing.

- Experience in Migration projects.

- Participation with peers in technical reviews of system designs and requirements.

- Adherence to established procedures and methodologies.

- Production of relevant technical documents.

- Design and implementation of : Microsoft Dynamics TM AX/365 systems;

- Product enhancements and add-on modules (based on architecture specifications and requirements).

- Assistance with analysis of client requirements and development estimations

- Assistance with technical support

- Participation in formal project reviews and analysis.

- Creation of software development plans as part of a collaborative team effort.

- Work with the team to utilise new Microsoft technologies that work in conjunction with Microsoft Dynamics TM AX/365, such as SharePoint, Web Services and Reporting Services

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop customizations, extensions, and integrations in D365 F&O using X++, MorphX, and other relevant technologies.

- Participate in the technical analysis of business requirements and translate them into effective solutions.

- Lead or support data migration and system upgrade projects.

- Develop and execute unit testing, bug fixing, and performance tuning activities.

- Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to ensure technical solutions meet client needs.

- Participate in peer reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to established coding standards and methodologies.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test cases, and deployment plans.

- Assist in estimating development effort, planning technical work, and reporting progress.
