Role Overview :
We are looking for a highly skilled Computer Scientist II to design and build scalable, distributed systems powering next-generation platforms and AI-driven applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong backend engineering expertise, hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, and exposure to modern Generative AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and optimize large-scale distributed systems with high availability, scalability, and reliability
- Architect and build backend services and microservices-based applications using modern engineering practices
- Develop and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Work with Kubernetes and containerized environments for deployment, orchestration, and scaling
- Contribute to the design and implementation of Generative AI solutions, including :
1. LLM-powered applications
2. Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems
3. Conversational AI platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, platform, and AI/ML teams to deliver high-impact solutions
- Drive technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and engineering best practices
- Optimize system performance, observability, reliability, and operational efficiency
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture
Required Skills & Experience :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 7-9 years of experience in software engineering with strong focus on backend and distributed systems
- Strong programming expertise in :
1. Java, Python, or similar backend technologies
- Proven experience designing and building :
1. Distributed systems
2. Scalable backend platforms
3. Microservices architectures
- Hands-on experience with :
1. Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
2. Kubernetes & container orchestration
- Experience working with Generative AI technologies, such as :
1. Large Language Models (LLMs)
2. RAG architectures
3. Conversational AI systems
- Strong understanding of :
1. System design principles
2. APIs and asynchronous systems
3. Scalability, performance, and reliability engineering
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
