About the Role :


We are looking for a highly skilled AWS Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AWS migration and Disaster Recovery (DR) projects. The ideal candidate will work on large-scale data pipelines, cloud migrations, and DR setups, leveraging AWS-native services to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient data solutions. This is a fully remote role open to candidates across India.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, ETL workflows, and DR architectures using AWS cloud services.

- Lead and contribute to AWS migration projects, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.

- Implement and manage Disaster Recovery (DR) processes, ensuring seamless failover/fallback strategies.

- Work extensively with AWS stack : S3, RDS, Athena, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, MWAA, and other related services.

- Develop and optimize PySpark and Python scripts for data processing, transformation, and automation.

- Build infrastructure and pipelines using Terraform, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD best practices.

- Collaborate with Cloud, DevOps, and Data teams to ensure alignment with architecture and compliance requirements.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize workflows for cost efficiency and performance.

- Maintain strong documentation for pipelines, DR procedures, and architectural designs.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in AWS-based data engineering & migration projects.

- Mandatory : Proven experience working on Disaster Recovery (DR) projects.

- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services : S3, RDS, Athena, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, MWAA

- Strong programming skills :


1. Python (Advanced)


2. PySpark (Advanced)

- Experience with CI/CD tools Terraform, GitHub Actions.

- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, VPC concepts, IAM, and security best practices
