Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Embedded Software Engineer with strong expertise in Adaptive AUTOSAR and modern C++. The role involves developing and integrating high-performance automotive software for next-generation vehicle platforms, with a focus on middleware, communication, concurrency, and safety-critical development.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and integrate software components using Adaptive AUTOSAR.

- Develop high-performance automotive software using C++11/14/17, with strong understanding of modern C++ practices.

- Work with STL, multithreading, concurrency, synchronization, and memory management.

- Develop and integrate automotive communication interfaces and services using SOME/IP and CAN FD.

- Work with Adaptive AUTOSAR platform services, communication mechanisms, and service-oriented architectures.

- Debug and troubleshoot complex software, communication, integration, and runtime issues.

- Analyze system performance and optimize software for reliability, scalability, and resource efficiency.

- Collaborate with system, architecture, hardware, testing, cybersecurity, and other engineering teams.

- Participate in software design reviews, code reviews, integration, testing, and release activities.

- Ensure development follows applicable automotive software quality and functional-safety processes.

- Contribute to technical documentation, development standards, and reusable software components.

Required Skills:

- 7 - 12 years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software Development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Adaptive AUTOSAR.

- Strong proficiency in C++11/14/17 and modern C++ programming.

- Strong knowledge of STL, multithreading, concurrency, synchronization, and memory management.

- Hands-on experience with SOME/IP and automotive communication protocols.

- Experience with CAN FD and automotive Ethernet is preferred.

- Understanding of ISO 26262 and functional safety concepts.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and software integration skills.

- Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies.

- Strong understanding of automotive embedded systems and software development processes.

- Immediate to 15-day notice period preferred.

- Bangalore-based candidates or candidates willing to work from Bangalore preferred.
