Position Summary :
We are seeking a highly experienced AWS Cloud Solutions and Pre-Sales Architect to join our Bangalore office. This role demands deep AWS technical expertise, a consultative mindset, and strong business acumen to engage with senior IT stakeholders. The ideal candidate will lead pre-sales initiatives, design scalable AWS cloud architectures, and drive differentiated value propositions across industries.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Engagement & Solutioning :
- Engage with CxOs, IT Directors, and Enterprise Architects to uncover business needs and cloud transformation drivers.
- Lead the discovery, assessment, and architecture design for scalable AWS cloud solutions aligned to customer goals.
- Frame customer problem statements into AWS-native, cost-effective, secure, and scalable architectures.
Pre-Sales Architecture & Technical Leadership :
- Own the technical solutioning for proactive proposals across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS workloads on AWS.
- Collaborate with AWS teams, internal sales, and delivery units to develop tailored customer solutions.
- Conduct solution workshops, architecture deep dives, and proof-of-value engagements.
Thought Leadership & Content Development :
- Publish whitepapers, blogs, and Points of View (PoVs) on AWS trends, migration strategies, and industry architectures.
- Contribute to internal competency building and cloud evangelism through enablement sessions and reference architectures.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
- Work closely with GTM, Delivery, and OEM Partner teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment with AWS best practices.
- Act as a key liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive business alignment.
Client Relationship & AWS Partnership Management :
- Build and sustain trusted advisor relationships with client stakeholders.
- Drive alignment with AWS Partner Development Managers (PDMs) for co-selling and joint GTM motions.
Required Skills and Competencies :
- Deep expertise in AWS services including but not limited to EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, Control Tower, and AWS Organizations.
- Proven experience in AWS migration, modernization (e.g., serverless, containerization), and cloud-native architecture design.
- Experience in cost modeling using AWS Pricing Tools and building business cases for cloud adoption.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead complex solutioning across verticals such as BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing, or Retail.
Mandatory Certifications :
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (Required).
- AWS Certified Security Specialty or DevOps Engineer Professional (Preferred).
- TOGAF, ITIL, or Scrum/Agile certifications (Preferred for enterprise/process alignment).
Educational Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering / Computer Science / IT (Mandatory).
- Masters Degree (MBA, M.Tech) in relevant fields (Preferred).
