Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Lead / Senior Analyst to lead and contribute to our test automation initiatives. The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise in building and managing automation frameworks using tools like Selenium (Java/C#), Playwright, and Tosca, while also possessing strong people management and leadership capabilities. This hybrid Lead + IC role requires balancing technical execution with strategic direction and team oversight, enabling delivery of Automation as a Service (AaaS) across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain custom automation frameworks across web, API, and enterprise applications using Selenium (Java/C#), Playwright, Tosca, or similar tools.

- Establish and promote test automation best practices, including framework architecture, modular scripting, data-driven testing, and maintainability.

- Lead a team of automation engineers, providing technical direction, mentorship, and conducting regular performance reviews.

- Implement and manage Automation as a Service (AaaS) to scale automation solutions across business units.

- Oversee and manage test scripts, libraries, and test data for reuse across projects.

- Collaborate with QA, Development, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure seamless integration of test automation into the CI/CD pipeline.

- Evaluate and onboard new tools/technologies and drive continuous improvement in automation strategy.

- Manage workload balancing between hands-on tasks and team leadership responsibilities.

- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, well-documented, and efficient automation code.

Required Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in test automation, with 24 years in a technical leadership or lead analyst role.

- Strong hands-on experience in :

o Selenium with Java/C#

o Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python)

o Tosca for model-based automation

- Proven experience in framework design and development from scratch.

- Demonstrated ability to manage automation teams, handle resource planning, and lead by example.

- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation into agile development cycles.

- Excellent scripting skills, object-oriented programming knowledge, and familiarity with GIT, Jenkins, and JIRA.

- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud-based test execution platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).

- Knowledge of API testing, performance testing, and test data management practices.

- ISTQB or equivalent testing certifications.

- Exposure to enterprise-level automation in domains like finance, healthcare, or retail is a plus.
