Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Azure AD SSO Developer with strong expertise in Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations and application onboarding.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Ping SSO, Azure AD, and various authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.

This role involves working closely with application teams to design, configure, test, and maintain SSO solutions that ensure secure and seamless user access across enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Application Onboarding & SSO Integration :

- Lead end-to-end application onboarding into Ping SSO and Azure AD SSO environments.

- Configure and manage SSO integrations using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, WS-Fed, and related protocols.

- Perform configuration of authentication flows, token settings, user attributes, claims mapping, and access policies.

- Work with application teams to gather detailed authentication requirements, integration specs, and security needs.

Implementation, Testing & Validation :

- Execute functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for SSO-enabled applications.

- Troubleshoot authentication issues, token failures, federation errors, and configuration mismatches.

- Optimize SSO integrations for performance, reliability, and security compliance.

- Maintain documentation of integration steps, architecture, and troubleshooting procedures.

Identity & Access Management Support :

- Collaborate with IAM, security, infrastructure, and application teams to support identity governance initiatives.

- Support Azure AD identity features such as Conditional Access, MFA, App Registrations, Enterprise Applications.

- Ensure adherence to authentication security standards, compliance requirements, and organizational IAM policies.

- Assist in improving SSO onboarding processes, templates, and best practices.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Work closely with internal stakeholders (application owners, IAM teams, architects) to deliver secure and efficient SSO solutions.

- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Provide recommendations for securing applications, improving authentication workflows, and enhancing user experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4+ years of total experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) or SSO development.

- 5+ years (as per requirement note) of hands-on experience with Ping SSO, including migration, configuration, and application onboarding.

- Strong expertise in authentication protocols :

1. SAML 2.0

2. OAuth 2.0

3. OpenID Connect (OIDC)

4. JWT, Certificates, Token-based Authentication

- Experience integrating enterprise applications with Azure AD SSO and Ping Identity.

- Strong understanding of Azure AD concepts such as :

i. Enterprise Applications

ii. App Registrations

iii. Conditional Access

iv. Identity Governance

v. MFA and SSPR

- Experience with directory services (Active Directory, LDAP) and identity lifecycle processes.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) tools (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt).

- Familiarity with Zero Trust frameworks and modern authentication architectures.

- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python) for automation of identity tasks.

- Azure or Ping Identity certifications
