Role Overview :
As a Radar Developer at Acsia Technologies, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and integrating radar signal processing algorithms and embedded software for high-performance automotive radar systems. You will collaborate with global engineering teams to deliver radar features that meet stringent safety, performance, and compliance requirements, aligning with ISO 26262, ASPICE, and NCAP protocols.
Key Responsibilities :
Radar Signal Processing & Algorithm Development :
- Optimize radar pipeline components for performance, memory usage, and computational efficiency.
- Develop custom signal processing techniques to handle urban clutter, multipath interference, and low-SNR environments.
Embedded Software Development :
- Port signal processing algorithms to embedded targets such as DSPs, FPGAs, and MCUs (TI, Infineon, NXP platforms).
- Implement device drivers, hardware abstraction layers, and middleware for radar sensors.
- Work within AUTOSAR environments and ensure integration with BSW stack.
Calibration & Testing :
- Support testing in radar-in-the-loop (RiL), software-in-the-loop (SIL), and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments.
- Analyze and validate radar sensor performance in real-world driving scenarios.
System Integration & Validation :
- Conduct scenario-based validation for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous functions.
- Ensure compliance with functional safety (ISO 26262), ASPICE, and other relevant automotive standards.
Lifecycle Support & Diagnostics :
- Troubleshoot field issues and deliver robust solutions to customer platforms.
- Participate in over-the-air (OTA) update support and diagnostics development.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Solid foundation in radar theory, RF systems, and MIMO radar technologies.
- Proficient in C/C++, MATLAB, and Python.
- Experience with embedded systems, RTOS, and radar SDKs.
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR architecture, UDS protocols, and calibration tools (CANoe, radar chambers).
- Working knowledge of radar perception using AI/ML techniques is an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters in Electronics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 510 years of hands-on experience in automotive radar development.
- Certifications in ASPICE, ISO 26262, or radar engineering preferred.
- Experience working with automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers is highly desirable.
Soft Skills :
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments and engaging with global customers.
