Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled ACI Data Center Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Cisco ACI Data Center design, deployment, and operations, along with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) exposure using Ansible.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting scalable, automated data center network environments built on Cisco ACI and Nexus platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, engineer, deploy, and support Cisco ACI-based data center environments.

- Lead and contribute to ACI fabric design, policy modeling, and tenant configuration.

- Implement and maintain network automation using Ansible (mandatory).

- Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using Ansible and/or Terraform.

- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus switching platforms integrated with ACI fabrics.

- Perform day-to-day operational support, incident resolution, and performance optimization for ACI environments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data center modernization and automation initiatives.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and design artifacts.

- Ensure network designs follow best practices for scalability, security, and resilience.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Cisco ACI Data Center design and engineering.

- Strong experience in design, deployment, and support of Cisco ACI environments.

- ACI expertise is mandatory and the top priority for this role.

- Solid hands-on knowledge of Cisco Nexus switching platforms.

- Mandatory experience with Ansible for network automation and configuration management.

- Exposure to Terraform or other IaC tools is a plus.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience working in enterprise or large-scale data center environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Cisco certifications (CCNP / CCIE Data Center) are a strong plus.

- Experience with hybrid or multi-site ACI deployments.

- Familiarity with Agile or ITIL-based operational environments.
