Accolite - Murex Testing Lead

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Murex Testing Lead with strong expertise in MxTest, functional testing of Murex modules, and end-to-end validation of trade workflows across FX and Commodities markets. The ideal candidate will lead test strategy, test execution, and quality validation for Murex upgrades, new releases, and risk-related functionalities. Basic SQL knowledge and experience with market risk concepts such as Value at Risk (VaR) are essential.

Required Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in Murex functional testing.

- Strong hands-on experience with MxTest automation.

- Knowledge of trade lifecycle testing for FX and Commodities.

- Good understanding of Market Risk, especially VaR.

- Basic SQL scripting for data validation.

- Experience working in Agile testing environments.

- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead testing activities for Murex modules including trade capture, pricing, risk, and settlement.

- Perform end-to-end testing using MxTest, automation, and regression frameworks.

- Coordinate test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.

- Validate trade lifecycle workflows for FX and Commodities markets.

- Support Market Risk testing including Value at Risk (VaR) calculations and scenario validations.

- Execute SQL queries for data validation and backend checks.

- Collaborate with development, business users, and environment teams for issue resolution.

- Contribute to automation enhancements using scripting (Groovy/Shell) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins).

- Ensure testing standards, governance, and best practices across releases.

Preferred Skills :

- Jenkins pipeline (Groovy) experience.

- Unix Shell scripting.

- Exposure to CI/CD and test automation frameworks.

- Experience in Murex upgrades or migrations.
