About the job :

We are seeking a skilled Murex Collateral Consultant to join the team supporting Murex platform for a leading global bank.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience working on collateral lifecycle, margining processes, CSA agreements, and regulatory margining (SIMM) within the Murex ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and support the Collateral Management module in Murex

- Manage the collateral workflow, including :

- Margin calls generation

- Agreement definitions (CSA, GMRA, ISDA)

- Eligibility rules and thresholds

- Substitution and dispute workflows

- Work on both Initial Margin (IM) and Variation Margin (VM) processes

- Integrate Murex collateral module with external systems

- Define and implement collateral optimization, exposure monitoring, and reporting mechanisms

- Collaborate with internal risk, operations, and front-office teams for issue resolution and enhancements

- Perform impact analysis for changes in agreements, margin rules, or regulatory requirements

- Support UAT, regression testing, and production deployment for collateral-related changes

Must-Have Skills :

- 5+ years of experience on Murex and 2+ years on Collateral

- Strong hands-on experience in Murex Collateral Module configuration

- Sounds understanding of capital markets domain & asset classes

- In-depth understanding of margining processes, CSA/ISDA terms, and agreement setup

- Experience with regulatory margining requirements: BCBS-IOSCO, SIMM, etc.

- Familiarity with collateral instruments (cash, bonds, treasuries, etc.)

- Ability to interpret and implement collateral eligibility rules and haircuts

- Proficiency in Datamart reporting and MxML workflows for collateral

- Working knowledge of Murex Workflows, UDFs, and trade attributes

Soft Skills :

- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities

- Analytical thinker with attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and in Agile environments

- Experience mentoring junior team members is a plus
