Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Senior E-Commerce Developer with 6 - 10 years of experience in building and maintaining enterprise-grade e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React.js for frontend development and Drupal as the CMS/backend platform, with proven experience in implementing shopping cart, checkout, payment gateway integrations, and order management workflows.

The candidate will work closely with product managers, UX designers, architects, and QA teams to deliver scalable, high-performing, and secure e-commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain e-commerce applications using React.js and Drupal.

- Develop responsive, reusable, and scalable frontend components.

- Implement and enhance critical e-commerce functionalities including product catalog management, shopping cart, checkout, payment gateway integration, order management, and customer account management.

- Integrate frontend applications with Drupal APIs and third-party services.

- Develop and customize Drupal modules, themes, and content structures.

- Optimize website performance, page load times, and user experience.

- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Ensure platform security, compliance, and best practices.

- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical mentoring.

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

- Work within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Technical Skills :

- Frontend : React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, React Hooks, Context API, Redux, responsive design, RESTful APIs, GraphQL.

- Drupal : Drupal 8/9/10, custom module development, site building, Drupal Commerce.

- E-Commerce : Shopping cart, checkout workflows, payment gateway integrations (Stripe, PayPal, Adyen, Razorpay), inventory/order management, promotional features.

- Additional : Git, CI/CD, Azure/AWS/GCP, Docker, SEO, accessibility, automated testing.

Desired Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Experience with headless Drupal architecture.

- Experience in integrating ERP, CRM, OMS, or payment systems.

- Exposure to microservices and API-first architectures.

- Drupal certification is a plus.
