We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to join as a forward-deployed engineer within our clients data and AI engineering initiatives. This role demands strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, Azure, Python, and GenAI technologies, along with a proven ability to interface directly with business stakeholders.

As a senior technical contributor, you will help shape data and GenAI strategies, drive the design and implementation of advanced AI/ML-infused data solutions, and support both structured project deliverables and ad-hoc analytics needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to identify, design, and implement GenAI and analytics-driven solutions aligned with business goals.

- Architect and develop GenAI-infused pipelines, LLM-based chatbots, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions using Snowflake Cortex and other modern AI/ML tools.

- Leverage Snowflakes native ML/Cortex capabilities to enable advanced use cases.

- Design scalable data architectures using Azure data services, ensuring alignment with governance and security standards.

- Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Python, SQL, and modern cloud-native tools.

- Respond to and support ad-hoc analytical requests, working with Power BI and other tools to create dashboards or reports as needed.

- Serve as a technical thought leader and advisor on AI/ML adoption and data strategy.

- Guide and collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and domain experts.

Required Skills and Experience :

Technical Expertise :

- 10+ years of overall experience in data architecture, engineering, or analytics roles.

- 3+ years hands-on experience with Snowflake, including use of Cortex, UDFs, Streams, Tasks, and data modeling.

- 3+ years experience in Python for data workflows, ML, or integration.

- 3+ years experience working on Azure Cloud (Data Factory, Synapse, Azure ML, Blob Storage, etc.).

- Expertise in advanced SQL performance tuning, complex joins, window functions, and modeling.

- Experience with GenAI / LLMs / AI/ML frameworks, including RAG architecture, prompt engineering, or using OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, LangChain, etc.

- 2+ years experience with Power BI (optional but preferred) building data visualizations and reporting solutions.

Soft Skills :

- Strong customer-facing orientation able to engage, understand needs, and articulate solutions effectively.

- Excellent communication skills both technical and business-level.

- Demonstrated business acumen and ability to align technical work with organizational strategy (nice to have).

- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver under tight deadlines, and operate with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Exposure to MLOps, DevOps, data governance frameworks, and cloud security best practices.

- Experience in enterprise environments, especially in BFSI, Retail, or Healthcare domains.

- Familiarity with tools like Git, Jira, CI/CD pipelines, or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
