Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Functional Testing, API Testing, and Database/SQL Testing. The role involves testing web applications, validating APIs, performing backend data validation, and ensuring end-to-end product quality.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End Testing of web applications.

- Design and execute test cases and test scenarios.

- Perform API Testing using REST APIs and Postman.

- Validate backend data using SQL queries, joins, and database validation.

- Test complex application workflows and user journeys.

- Test applications involving Microservices and multiple integrations.

- Log, track, and manage defects using Jira, qTest, or similar tools.

- Work closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to resolve issues.

Must-Have Skills :

- 5 - 8 years of experience in Software Testing / QA.

- Strong Functional Testing experience.

- Strong hands-on API Testing - REST APIs / Postman.

- Strong SQL / Database Testing, including queries and joins.

- Experience testing Web Applications.

- Good understanding of Microservices.

- Experience in Test Case Design, Test Execution, Regression Testing, and Defect Management.

Good to Have :

- Mortgage / Banking / Financial Services domain experience.

- Exposure to Automation Testing.

- Experience with complex applications and multiple integrations.
