Role Overview :

We are seeking a senior JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Functional Consultant to support and modernise the JDE estate that continues to run mission-critical manufacturing, distribution and supply-chain operations across multiple Client divisions.

The role operates in a hybrid ERP environment alongside SAP S/4HANA, with Oracle Cloud PLM as the enterprise product master and an active agenda of post-M&A integrations, JDE modernisation, and process automation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Support, enhance and configure JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 (Release 22 / Release 25 / Continuous Innovation codeline) across Manufacturing, Distribution, Inventory, Procurement, Sales Order Management, Advanced Pricing and Finance.

- Translate business requirements from manufacturing, supply chain and commercial teams into JDE functional designs, configuration, and process flows.

- Design and support integrations between JDE and Oracle Cloud PLM (item master, BOM, ECO synchronisation), SAP S/4HANA (where co-existence applies), CRM, WMS, MES, LIMS, and reporting platforms.

- Leverage JD Edwards Orchestrator, AIS Server and notification framework to automate repeatable processes, integrate emerging technologies, and reduce manual touchpoints.

- Support JDE modernisation and cloud-readiness initiatives, including lift-and-shift / re-host to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and adoption of UX One, Personalization Framework and One View Reporting.

- Drive post-acquisition integration of newly acquired entities - onboarding their data, processes and chart of accounts into the JDE template where the target operating model so requires.

- Participate in incident, problem and change management; partner with CNC, technical and DBA teams on environment management, package builds and tools releases.

- Ensure compliance with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5 and internal Quality / Validation procedures for regulated divisions.

- Identify and prototype opportunities for AI- and RPA-assisted automation on top of the JDE platform, in line with Clients broader AI strategy (OpenAI / ChatGPT Enterprise rollout, NVIDIA, TetraScience).

Required Skills :

- ~10+ years of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne functional consulting experience with current-version (9.2 / Release 22+) depth.

- Strong expertise in at least two of : Manufacturing (Shop Floor, Product Data Mgmt, Forecast / Requirements Planning), Inventory, Procurement, Sales Order Mgmt, Advanced Pricing, Distribution / WMS.

- Demonstrated experience supporting complex, global manufacturing operations - high-mix discrete, process or regulated environments.

- Working knowledge of JDE Orchestrator, AIS, BSSV, BI Publisher, One View Reporting and integration with middleware (Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft, Boomi or equivalent).

- SQL proficiency for data analysis, reconciliation and incident triage; familiarity with JDE's data dictionary and event rules.

- Excellent communication, business-analysis and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Prior experience in life-sciences, pharma, diagnostics, medical devices or regulated manufacturing (GxP / FDA).

- Experience in hybrid ERP estates where JDE and SAP (or another tier-one ERP) co-exist, with master-data and process-harmonisation across both.

- Exposure to JDE-to-OCI migration, cloud transformation programmes or JDE - Oracle Cloud PLM integrations.

- Experience with AI / RPA tooling layered on top of JDE (e.g. UiPath, Power Automate, Orchestrator-driven workflows).

- Understanding of PPI / Lean / Six Sigma operational-excellence frameworks.
