About the Software & Platforms Team :

The team is focused on driving Data & AI based solutions for SaaS and PaaS clients for Accenture. The team collaborates ac;tively with onsite counterparts to help identify opportunities for growth as well as drives client deliveries from offshore.

In Data & AI you will understands the importance of sound analytical decision-making, relationship of tasks to the overall project, and executes projects in the context of a business performance improvement initiative.

What you would do in this role :

As a Data Science Manager at Accenture, you will play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions focused on Generative AI and LLM for our Software & Platform clients.

Your responsibilities will involve overseeing the end-to-end process of designing, building, and deploying AI-powered systems that deliver business value and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategy and Planning :

- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and identify AI opportunities.

- Develop AI strategies and roadmaps that align with client goals and Accenture's capabilities.

- Conduct market research and stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in AI technologies.

Project Management :

- Lead and manage cross-functional teams for multiple projects throughout the project lifecycle.

- Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.

- Ensure project milestones are achieved within budget and meet quality standards.

- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.

AI Solution Design and Development :

- Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business analysts to design AI solutions.

- Identify appropriate AI algorithms and techniques to solve specific business problems.

- Oversee the development and testing of AI models, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate AI solutions into existing technology ecosystems.

Client Engagement and Relationship Management :

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.

- Present and communicate AI concepts, solutions, and project updates to client stakeholders.

- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand client engagements.

- Provide guidance and support to clients in leveraging AI capabilities for business growth.

Team Leadership and Development :

- Mentor and guide a team of AI professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

- Develop talent within the team, providing coaching and training as necessary.

- Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across project teams and the broader organization.

Job Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related quantitative field.

- Experience working for large Software or Platform organizations.

- Proven experience (7+ years) in managing AI projects and delivering successful outcomes.

- Hands-On exposure to Generative AI frameworks and implementations

- Strong knowledge of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, etc.

- Familiarity with popular AI frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.

- Strong project management abilities, including planning, resource management, and risk assessment.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
