Job Summary :

We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Data Engineer to join our growing data team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines (ETL/ELT).

- Work with structured and unstructured data across a wide variety of data sources.

- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.

- Optimize data systems and architecture for performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Monitor data quality and support initiatives to ensure clean, accurate, and consistent data.

- Develop and maintain data models and metadata.

- Implement and maintain best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.

Professional & Technical Skills :

- 4+ years in data engineering or related fields

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

- Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java.

- Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Hive.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, especially services like S3, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Data Lake.

- Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow, Luigi, or similar.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques.

- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Experience with modern data stack tools like dbt, Snowflake, or Databricks.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).

- Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
