Job Description :


We are looking for an Associate Project Manager Order to Cash (O2C) to join our Central Operations Team (COT) in India. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting global Order to Cash (O2C) process ownership and driving SAP S/4HANAbased projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

This role requires strong end-to-end O2C process expertise, excellent SAP S/4HANA know-how from both functional and technical perspectives, and proven experience in managing global, cross-functional projects. You will work closely with Global Process Owners, Service Network teams, IT/IS, Finance, Sales, and other stakeholders to deliver projects efficiently, intelligently, and within budget.

The position is well suited for a collaborative team player who can independently drive initiatives, manage complexity, and ensure fast yet structured project execution while maintaining global standards.

You will report to the Division Support Manager within the Central Operations Team

Your Responsibilities :


Order to Cash Process Ownership support :


- Act as a key support to the Global Process Owner (GPO) for the end-to-end Order to Cash process.

- Support global rollouts, enhancements, and stabilization activities related to O2C processes.

- Ensure alignment of global standards across regions and service networks.

- Support the definition, documentation, and governance of end-to-end O2C processes, KPIs, and controls

SAP S/4HANA Expertise :


- Provide strong functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA Order to Cash processes (e.g., Order Management, Pricing, Invoicing, Credit Management, Revenue Recognition).

- Collaborate with IT, developers, and external partners to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.

- Monitor, coordinate, and support SAP upgrades and releases related to sales and service processes.

- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT and hypercare activities.)

- Act as a subject matter expert for O2C-related SAP topics

- Contribute to enablement activities such as webinars, knowledge sessions, and user trainings.

- Support communication activities, including SAP upgrade and process change communications/newsletters.

Project Management & Change requests :


- Analyse, assess, and prioritize change requests (RFCs) related to Order to Cash and connected processes.

- Lead and manage Order to Cashrelated projects and continuous improvement initiatives in SAP S/4HANA.

- Manage and drive global and regional O2C-related projects from initiation to closure.

- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.

- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation actions across parallel initiatives.

- Drive projects efficiently and smartly, balancing speed, quality, cost, and stakeholder alignment.

Cross-Functional Project Support :


- Contribute to and support cross-functional initiatives beyond O2C where required (e.g., E-invoicing, Inventory, Master Data, Reporting).

- Ensure O2C dependencies are well-managed in integrated end-to-end projects.

- Support and enhance special and non-standard business processes such as: Warranty handling, Return orders, Intercompany processes, Down payments, Scrap handling

- Work closely with Finance, Sales, Logistics, Master Data, IT/IS, and Service Network teams to ensure end-to-end process integration.

Continuous Improvement & Governance :


- Identify process pain points through user feedback, incident and ticket monitoring, and service request analysis.

- Define and drive structured improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and user experience.

- Ensure user manuals, work instructions, and training materials are updated in line with approved processes.

- Maintain and govern end-to-end process documentation and process maps in Signavio.

Stakeholder & Service Network Collaboration :


- Work closely with global process owners, regional teams, service networks, IT, finance, sales, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

- Serve as a key contact for O2C project topics across regions.

- Facilitate workshops, discussions, and alignment meetings with global stakeholders.

- Ensure clear communication and change management during project execution.

Budget & Resource Management :


- Support planning, monitoring, and controlling of project budgets.

- Track project costs, resource utilization, and forecasts.

- Ensure efficient use of internal and external resources.

Your background :


- B.E./B.Tech/ MBA /Diploma in Engg. or other equivalent qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in Order to Cash (O2C) processes within SAP environments, with exposure to SAP S/4HANA; knowledge of SAP Public Cloud and project management is a strong advantage.

- Strong hands-on functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA O2C processes, with solid technical understanding preferred.

- Proven experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system and process validation.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a global, matrix organization.

- Structured, solution-oriented, and delivery-focused mindset, with a strong drive for continuous improvement.

- Proactive and accountable, with the ability to independently drive initiatives to closure.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with strong written and spoken English.

- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and regions.

- Willingness to work in rotational shifts to support projects across multiple global time zones.
