Abinitio Developer - SQL/ETL

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Ab Initio Developer with strong hands-on expertise in ETL development, data integration, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in Ab Initio GDE, Co>Operating System, and related components, along with a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows and data pipelines using Ab Initio.

- Work on Ab Initio GDE, Co>Operating System, EME, Continuous Flows, and Express>It.

- Optimize and tune ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Collaborate with data architects and analysts to design data integration solutions aligned with business needs.

- Perform data analysis, data profiling, and identify issues in data flow or quality.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data mappings and process designs.

- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and defect resolution.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment.

- Provide production support and resolve issues within SLAs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 68 years of experience in Ab Initio development and ETL design.

- Strong experience in GDE, Co>Operating System, EME, and Conduct>It.

- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and database design.

- Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of databases like Oracle, Teradata, or Snowflake.

- Experience in Unix/Linux scripting and basic automation.

- Familiarity with version control tools (Git/SVN) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

- Exposure to Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).

- Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, or data quality tools.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
