Tasks :

- Develop and customize Windchill PDM Link solutions to meet business requirements.

- Perform configuration, customization, and administration of Windchill 12 PDM Link.

- Work with internal stakeholders to design efficient PLM workflows and lifecycles.

- Improve the integration Windchill PDM Link with ERP, CAD, and other enterprise applications.

- Good knowledge in Java Development, JSP, XML, and Windchill API-based solutions for enhancements.

- Troubleshoot system performance issues, debugging, and root cause analysis.

- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and business teams to ensure smooth PLM adoption and usage.

- Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with best practices.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Windchill upgrades, patches, and best practices.

- Optimize customization in cooperation with internal colleagues and external partners.

- Support further development of the IT architecture for product master data.

- Support worldwide implementation of the defined process and system standards.

- Creating solution concepts and ensuring implementation in the applications.

- Understand existing customization and perform root cause analyses for issues, followed by solution implementation.

- Understanding the runtime components/configuration of Windchill and propose and develop solution/measures to address the problem.

Required qualifications :

- Bachelor or Masters degree from a university in business informatics or equivalent professional track record.

- 3+ years of experience in Windchill PDM Link development and administration.

- A good knowledge of the PTC Windchill application.

- Comprehensive understanding of the product development process as well as knowledge of related logistical processes.

- Good PLM concept and system knowledge required, ERP process knowledge will be an added advantage.

- Understands how to be systematic and methodical in approach.

- Strong process thinking, conceptual skills, analytical reasoning ability.

- Ability to quickly understand the big picture and suggest practical, manageable solutions.

- Work Independently with a high level of quality awareness.

- Able to work cross-functionally in a global context with different teams.

- Confident in communication and presentation skills.

- Perseverance with persuasiveness and an appropriate style of assertiveness.

- Willingness to travel internationally from time to time.

Desirable qualifications :

- Experience with CAD Application like Inventor, AutoCAD, Creo Parametric and other similar tools.

- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

- Knowledge of MPM Link and PartsLink as well as Windchill upgrades.
