About the Role :

Abbott Healthcare is seeking an experienced Data Science Manager with a proven track record in developing and delivering AI/ML-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will lead analytical initiatives, manage data modeling and insights generation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed business strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytical and machine learning solutions to derive actionable business insights.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges, define project scope, and leverage available data systems for impactful outcomes.

- Build and communicate compelling data narratives and insights to senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.

- Ensure the quality, scalability, and effectiveness of analytical solutions in alignment with business requirements.

- Oversee the delivery of data, models, and metrics compliant with business and regulatory standards.

- Mentor and guide junior data scientists, providing technical direction and supporting their professional growth.

- Manage multiple analytical projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 5 - 8 years of hands-on experience in data science or machine learning roles.

- Strong expertise in Python and SQL for data analysis, modeling, and automation.

- Experience implementing statistical and ML algorithms such as regression, clustering, random forests, SVMs, and neural networks.

- Proven experience in end-to-end AI/ML solution development (data preprocessing, model building, evaluation, and deployment).

- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred.

- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.

- Excellent communication and presentation abilities to engage with senior stakeholders.
