ABAP Full Stack Lead

Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled ABAP Full-Stack Lead with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP to lead end-to-end product engineering.

This role requires hands-on experience in backend ABAP development, RAP/CDS, Fiori/UI5 full-stack applications, and cloud extensibility.

The ideal candidate will drive clean-core principles, side-by-side extensions, and event-driven architectures while mentoring development teams and ensuring high-quality, scalable SAP solutions.

This position is pivotal for modernizing SAP landscapes and building cloud-ready, maintainable, and extensible SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Architecture & Development :

- Lead the design and development of features on SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP platforms.

- Build RAP/ABAP REST APIs, Core Data Services (CDS) Views, and cloud extensions.

- Develop Fiori/UI5 full-stack applications using OData, CDS, and modern UI5 frameworks.

- Implement clean-core, side-by-side extensions, and event-driven patterns in SAP solutions.

Quality, Testing & DevOps :

- Ensure high code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to SAP best practices.

- Adopt and drive CI/CD pipelines, ATC checks, and automated testing in ABAP development.

- Monitor and maintain code performance, scalability, and security of SAP applications.

Technical Leadership & Mentoring :

- Mentor and guide developers on ABAP full-stack development and cloud extension best practices.

- Provide technical governance for SAP projects and enforce standards across teams.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SAP solutions align with product requirements and business objectives.

Innovation & Cloud Extensibility :

- Drive innovation by leveraging SAP BTP Extension Suite and emerging SAP technologies.

- Evaluate opportunities for CAP (Node/Java), Workflow/Business Rules, Event Mesh, or other extensions to improve product functionality.

- Contribute to multi-tenant SaaS or cloud-native product architectures on SAP BTP.

Qualifications & Experience :

Required :

- Strong expertise in ABAP on S/4HANA : OO-ABAP, CDS, RAP, AMDP.

- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Extension Suite (RAP mandatory).

- Proven track record in Fiori/UI5 full-stack application development.

- Experience with Git, ATC, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud extensibility best practices.

- Product-first mindset with solid technical leadership in governance and best practices.

Preferred / Nice to Have :

- Knowledge of CAP (Node/Java), Workflow/Business Rules, Event Mesh.

- Experience in Supply Chain modules : PP, QM, MM, PM.

- Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS or BTP-based products.
