The Head Application Development & Maintenance (ADMS CoE) will be responsible for establishing, scaling, and governing the Application Development & Maintenance Services Center of Excellence.

This role owns solutioning, delivery excellence, and run operations across modern digital engineering stacks.

The role partners closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Delivery, and Customers to drive revenue enablement, predictable delivery, modernization outcomes, and long-term client relationships.

Core Responsibilities :

1. CoE Strategy & Governance :

- Define the ADMS CoE charter, operating model, and governance framework Establish engineering standards across : Architecture & design Secure SDLC CI/CD & DevSecOps

- Quality Engineering & SRE Set up reusable accelerators : templates, starter kits, pipelines, IaC modules, migration toolkits Own Architecture Review Board (ARB) and delivery guardrails

2. Sales & Pre-Sales Enablement Own technical solutioning for RFPs/RFIs including scope, architecture, estimation, staffing, and risks Partner with Sales to drive GTM strategy, pricing models, and deal shaping Lead POCs / pilots to improve win-rate and de-risk large deals Build reusable GTM assets: case studies, demos, reference architectures

3. Customer Solutioning & Delivery Leadership Lead discovery workshops and define functional & non-functional requirements Design end-to-end architectures across application, integration, data, and security Define modernization roadmaps and phased delivery plans Govern delivery across multiple teams/programs ensuring schedule, quality, and cost adherence

4. Delivery, Run & Operational Excellence Own SDLC execution across build, transition, and run phases Establish DevSecOps and SRE practices (SLOs, error budgets, incident response, postmortems) Set up L2/L3 application support, runbooks, and ITSM workflows Drive continuous improvement across quality, reliability, and productivity metrics

5. Leadership, Financials & Stakeholder Management Own CoE financials: revenue, margin, utilization, and ROI Publish executive dashboards covering delivery health, revenue, quality, and customer satisfaction

Note : This is a governance and leadership role, not hands-on coding. Required Experience 18+ years in software engineering / ADMS 810 years in senior leadership roles (Delivery Head, Engineering Director, CoE Head)

Proven experience setting up or scaling ADMS / Engineering CoEs Strong background in solutioning, estimation, and large-program delivery Demonstrated success in pre-sales support and executive stakeholder management Experience managing P&L, margins, and delivery economics
