Job Description :

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 4- 7 years of experience in both manual and automation testing, with a strong background in Java and JavaScript.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in testing web applications, mobile apps (iOS & Android), APIs, and SaaS-based solutions. You will work closely with development and product teams to ensure product quality and performance.

Job Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and TestNG.

- Develop automation test scripts for web, mobile (Appium), and API testing (REST Assured).

- Execute functional, regression, stability, and performance tests for mobile and web platforms.

- Perform manual testing of ios and Android apps, including frontend UI and usability testing.

- Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, Agile methodologies.

- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.

Skills & Tools :

- Programming : Java (Strong hands-on), JavaScript (Intermediate)

- Automation Tools : Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, Appium (Android & iOS), TestCafe, REST Assured

- Manual Testing : Mobile App Testing (iOS, Android), Web UI Testing

- API & Performance : Postman, JMeter, REST Assured, (Basic knowledge of Locust)

- Mobile Testing Tools : Appium Inspector, Vysor, Simulators, Xcode

- Databases : SQL, Relational Databases (Querying, Updating, Deleting)

- Cloud/Hosting : SaaS-based Solution Testing, (Basic AWS knowledge is a plus)

- Methodologies : STLC, SDLC, Agile

- Perform API testing using Postman, and load testing using JMeter (basic Locust knowledge is a plus).

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members for bug tracking, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.

- Ensure traceability of test cases to business and technical requirements.

- Participate in continuous test coverage improvement and process enhancement.

- Exposure to BPM tools or experience in business process testing is a plus.

- Manage and mentor junior QA members as needed.

Candidate Attributes :

- 4+ years of QA work experience

- Awareness of Testing life cycle gathering requirements, developing test plan and test cases, executing cases, maintaining bug cycle (open to closed)

- Automation using Selenium is desirable

- Experience in CI/CD using Jenkins

- API testing
